What is a Bio-Impedence Check?
Using a DF50 from Impedimed, enables us to offer peer reviewed General, Obsese and Chil algorithms. Electrodes are placed on hand and foot and values for impedence, phase, resistance and reactance is provided. This data is then entered into our computer together with your date of birth, current weight, sex and height. A detailed report is then provided which consultant will go over with you as follows: - Fat Free Mass
- Fat Mass
- Total Body Water
- Intracellular Water
- Extracellular Water
- Body Mass Index (BMI)
- Ideal Percentage of Body Weight
If you are on a weight loss plan or having Infrared Wrap Treatments with us, throughout your course of treatments you will be reassessed regularly and a report will be provided to you that allows you to see the changes that are occuring in your body. These checks can be done throughout your course of treatments and a graphical report is provided to you for your records.
