IPL Photo Rejuvenation

Reduce the Signs of Aging with IPL Photo Rejuvenation

We can’t stop our skin from aging but we can help reduce the signs by following a good skin care regime by using quality active skin care and using a sunscreen daily. Sometimes the damage is already done and we need a bit of help to restore our skin and remove blemishes and sun damage.  At BodySense Solutions, we offer a range of advanced skin care solutions, and we highly recommend that before selecting a treatment, you come in and speak to one of our experienced skin specialists.  Having your skin assessed is an important part of the process to ensure that you choose the treatment that will give you the best possible results.  IPL Photo Rejuvenaton is just one of many advanced skin care solutions we offer.

How does it work?
The Crystal 512 is differnet from other IPL machines and is based upon Active’s patented GEM-PL technology (Geometrical Energy Management).  The Crystal GEM technology manages to concentrate the bulk of the energy in a geometrical plant positioned under the skin, unlike other IPL’s and Laser’s where energy is scattered on the skin.   This precise positioning enables a selective targeting of pigments, vascular lesions, ance and hair removal.  The Crystal 512 is approved by the TGA.

What is Photo Rejuvenation used for?

  • Can assist with the reduction of pore size
  • Lightening and removing Sun Spots normally found on the face, neck, chest, hands
  • Reducing redness known as Rosacea, dilating blood vessels on the face and neck
How does it work?
A light beam passes through the skin which results in damage to the vessel wall or fragmenting melanin pigment making sun spots or blood vessels  less visible
How Many Treatments will I Need?
Depending on the severity of the areas being treated, we would recommend at least 6 monthly treatments to achieve lasting results. An active skin product will be recommended to be used between treatments.
Are there any side effects?
Some patients may experience mild, temporary swelling and some redness.  On darker spots, crusting may occur and this is normal.  This should not be touched but should be allowed to heal naturally.
What should I do before my first Treatment?
  • Avoid the sun or tanning beds  2-4 weeks prior to any treatment
  • You may need to stop using skin care products 7 days prior to your first treatment.  You consultant will discuss this with you.
